PMEL Calibration Technician 

Angel's Instrumentation is seeking an experienced calibration technician at our South Hampton Roads, Virginia facility.  The successful candidate will be proficient in performing electronic, pressure, temperature, and physical dimensional calibrations and repairs on specialized measuring test equipment.  This is a year round full time position with benefits in a team atmosphere.  Some overnight travel is required.

Responsibilities include calibration of:

• Precise voltage, capacitance, inductance, current and resistance
• Simplex and differential pressure instruments
• Bimetal/thermistor and thermocouple instruments
• Physical and dimensional equipment including inside/outside micrometers, calipers, dial indicators

Responsible for proper inventory and accounting of equipment, preparation of calibration reports and test data sheets.  Regularly interacts with other technicians and customers which involves the presentation of information in the role of a technical specialist.  Organizational and multitasking abilities are a must.

Position requires strong knowledge of electronic circuit theory, ability to read and trouble shoot circuit schematics, identify components.  Must possess good analytical skills, must pass security clearance, have good driving record and valid driver license.
